Stolen goods found by RCMP

5/14/2012

A treasure chest of stolen property was discovered by Salmon Arm RCMP.

Members acted off of a tip from a resident who witnessed a potential stolen quad cruising around near Silver Creek Community park.

Police found two quads, two gas powered generators, a laptop computer, and various other tools and equipment.

Total value of the stolen goods was estimated over $10,000.

Steven Beauvais and Jody Vigne, both from Kamloops, are charges with possession of stolen property.

Beauvais is a prolific offender and is being held in custody.  Vigne has since been released.

The majority of the merchandise has been returned to its rightful owners.
